John Yeon Retrospective Examines His Influence on Pacific Northwest Modernism

John Yeon put Pacific Northwest modernism on the map. Known for Oregon’s Portland Visitor Information Center as well as residential work, he also collected Asian decorative art. See it—and its influence on his architecture—in at the through September 3. The exhibition features original models and drawings alongside images by mid-century photographer . It’s accompanied by two books published by the with Monfried Editions, John Yeon: Architecture and John Yeon: Landscape.
